My daughter (almost 6) loves the story of the tortoise and the hare. When she saw this book, she said, "This is the book I want to read." She is on the right track to learn about investing. We actually have two jars where she keeps her money. One is labeled Thrifty with a picture of the turtle and the other is Ritzy with the rabbit on it. The Thrifty jar is for money she is saving for big purchases like a bicycle or a trampoline. The rabbit jar, Ritzy, is for her to spend without giving much thought. This book has given me a lot of ideas on how to teach and encourage my daughter to save. I highly recommend it. On Your Mark, Get Set, INVEST: A Kid's Guide to Saving Money, Spending Wisely, and Investing in the Stock Market (Full-Color Edition) (Invest Now Play Later Series) PDF Kindle Online gratis I was really excited that the author wrote a book appropriate for my younger nephews as I had previously bought his other book (A Teenager’s Guide to Investing) for the older nephews (and friend’s kids). It is such a great topic to address with children….I could have used this when I was young! The book is extremely easy to read, well thought out and connected to his other book written with older children in mind.I thought the incorporation of the activities and check-ins worked well and I suspect will work well for the younger targeted audience. The main characters (Thrifty Tortoise and Ritzy Rabbit) were also very relatable and appropriate for the target and message.Overall a well done book…..do your friends and family a good service and buy this for any kids you know in the targeted age group…..they will benefit in the future from the learnings! PDF On Your Mark, Get Set, INVEST: A Kid's Guide to Saving Money, Spending Wisely, and Investing in the Stock Market (Full-Color Edition) (Invest Now Play Later Series) download ebook online The book is a wonderful starting guide for children but also a refresher for adults who have forgotten some of the basics of personal finance. The information in the book is presented in a clear and concise format that is entertaining as well as informative. I believe that middle and high schools should use this book to teach students personal finance. ePUB On Your Mark, Get Set, INVEST: A Kid's Guide to Saving Money, Spending Wisely, and Investing in the Stock Market (Full-Color Edition) (Invest Now Play Later Series) leggi epub Using the fabled analogy of slow and steady winning the race, Luke Villermin takes his young reader on an exciting journey on the concept of money, savings, investments, and compounding. The urge to spend money for immediate gratification is virtually inherent in all human beings, but the discipline of the tortoise teaches the young reader why that urge should be overcome. Use of fun facts which are called track facts, and notable but simple quotations from famous financial gurus like Buffet, keeps the narrative fresh, in addition to plenty of fun worksheets and anecdotes. This is a must read for all kids in their journey to financial independence, so if parents want to make their sons and daughters financially responsible, this book is a great first step. I wish I had this book growing up. Download PDF On Your Mark, Get Set, INVEST: A Kid's Guide to Saving Money, Spending Wisely, and Investing in the Stock Market (Full-Color Edition) (Invest Now Play Later Series) I wanted a book for my younger brother in high school to start thinking about his money spending habits. Money and investing is a difficult topic to explain at any age so this book was a well needed introduction to all the things he needed to know before diving deeper. The illustrations and analogy made difficult concepts easy to digest and not boring. It did not feel like a math textbook. It is engaging and should be a reference item for years to come. As a college graduate myself, this actually served as a refresher and really broke down concepts into digestible pieces. Of course it did not cover everything but it made me eager to find out what the next book had in store. My brother will be looking forward to whats next.
