What do you do when life as you know it ends?Eden Ross is trying to figure that out. She starts by packing up the remains of her life and moving to a small town in Colorado to run a bar alongside her best friend. But the work still doesn't provide a sufficient distraction from the demons nipping at her heels. Estranged from the family she loves, she tries to focus on her new, tight-knit group of surprisingly accepting neighbors. That includes Chase Taylor, a charismatic outdoorsman she fails to keep at a distance despite her best intentions. But letting anyone get too close carries the possibility of them finding out her ugly truth, and that's a risk Eden's not willing to take. When a revelation from an unexpected source rocks her to her core, she's forced to make a decision that will change the course of her life. Faced with this impossible choice between her family and her well-being, she knows she needs help, and the only way to get it is to tell the truth about what has happened, so she can finally leave the past behind once and for all.In her debut novel, Hannah Bird deftly explores what it truly means to be a family, and whether those ties that bind us all can- or should- ever be broken.Follow Eden on her journey to discover the goodness of life and love after tragedy, and the importance of those that support us along the way.

Small town + found family + trauma & healing + hiking!Eden moves to small town Colorado to run a bar with her best friend after life as she knows it comes to an end.Estranged from her family, she focuses on the new group of tight knit friends that accept her in, including Chase. He’s an outdoorsman & despite her attempts, she can’t keep him at a distance. But letting him in could mean revealing what she doesn’t want anyone to know.An unexpected source gives her info that forces her to choose between her estranged family & her well-being, and Eden learns that in order to make a decision and move forward, she must speak the truth about what happened.Read if you love…- small town- one tent- strangers to friends to lovers- found family- hiking- trauma & healing- slow burn, open door- texts on page- therapy positive- cinnamon roll MMC- FMC works at a barThis book covers some very heavy & triggering topics; it’s messy & emotional & tough to read. To know that while fiction, parts of this story are based on Hannah’s life… it’s an honor as a reader to be trusted with this. With that said, the mental health rep & therapy positive perspective are outstanding. I loved seeing Eden’s actual sessions with her therapist. The growth & healing journey for Eden is truly incredible and at the forefront of the book.I adored the found family rep. Eden’s best friend Zoe and her friends who just pull Eden right into their circle. Chef’s kiss. The hiking, camping, and one tent scenes are just pure perfection. I’ll leave it at that.Chase is a whole melty face emoji pile of best feelings. He sees Eden and just genuinely accepts her, messy past & processing her trauma & all, despite his own messy past. I love the way he sees her, encourages her, takes care of her, and wants the best for her. And the whole outdoorsman side of him is just perfect!Trigger warnings: mistreatment by a parent; toxic relationship with mother; sexual abuse by a step-parent; mentions of child pornography, sexual assault, & trauma; depression; PTSD; panic attacks; mentions of religious trauma and pastoral misconduct; loss of a parent, past The End and Then (Loveless) Online PDF eBook lire en ligne I haven't felt moved by a book in a very long time, but reading The End and Then simultaneously broke my heart and put it back together again. I related so much to the main character Eden and her journey through grief matched up with mine in a way that I have never read about in a character. I teared up (multiple times) and I cheered for this strong (fictional) character who found her family in a little town in Loveless, CO.And CHASE, my gosh this fictional boyfriend I never knew I needed. His sunshine to Eden's rain was EVERYTHING. And he also probably had some of the best lines in the book. But it was his unwavering support and patience with Eden as she was dealing with her life altering moments that really just solidified my love for his character. And honestly this may just end up being a Chase appreciation post because of this image here:"I also feel the breath whoosh out of my lungs as Chase grips the back of my headrest and checks the side mirrors to reverse expertly up to the garage door." We love a man who can navigate a moving truck with that move.✨STILL SWOONING✨πππππ/5This was an amazing debut book by Hannah Bird and I'm extremely impressed with how quickly this story and this little fictional town pulled me in. The sensitive subject matter was written with such grace and respect along with the positive light shown on seeking help through therapy. PDF The End and Then (Loveless) ebook online ☆ found family☆ small town setting☆ happy ending☆ love story☆ overcoming past traumaI was captivated by the cover and the title.Wondering what it could be about. The story is about Eden who leaves her apartment in Tennessee and moves to Colorado to live with her best friend, Zoey. Needing to start a fresh new chapter in her life, yet still unsure how to actually start it. But the move is a big step. She immediately meets Chase a friend of Zoey's and is in awe of him, but doesn't know how to let her guard down. That's when things get messy and who likes messy.Apparently Chase doesn't mind.Read the story of how Eden faces her past, overcomes, and takes her life back in her hands to live how she wants. It's not easy getting there, but whenever is it. Especially when there's darkness lurking. This story was so relatable in many ways.Thank you Hannah for creating this incredible story. A story of real struggles and healing. That even after such darkness there is light waiting for you. ePUB The End and Then (Loveless) epub online π πππ πππ πππ ππππ πFirst of all, congrats to my dear friend Hannah on her debut release of this book.
